Each year, the Friends Board of the WSIU Stations hosts a fun-filled gala fundraiser in celebration of WSIU Public Broadcasting. Who knew this much fun could make such a difference?

Your Auction dollars strengthen our communities by:

  • Providing early childhood and school-based training and materials to parents and teachers.
  • Funding locally responsive and relevant programming
  • Inspiring positive action in our communities
  • Connecting physically challenged residents to the world around them
  • Expanding programming and service options through digital upgrades

We hope you will help to make this year’s event a success by making plans to attend. The Fantasy Auction will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the SIUC Student Center Ballrooms in Carbondale. You and your friends will enjoy cocktails, an elegant dinner buffet with regional wines, live music, and of course, our extraordinary live and silent Auctions. In addition, you won’t want to miss the evening’s Fun Finale. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and will conclude around 11:00 p.m.

Tickets are $60.00 per person, of which $30 may be considered a charitable contribution in support of WSIU Public Broadcasting. Advance reservations are required, and seating is limited. Make your reservation now.
